Privacy, without vague promises.
What HONESTY90 does not do
HONESTY90 does not require an account, does not include advertising trackers, does not build a behavioral advertising profile, and does not intentionally retain your search history in the application.
What happens when you search
Your query is sent from your browser to HONESTY90's server-side search endpoint. That endpoint sends the query to the upstream search provider to retrieve results. In V0.1, the upstream provider is Brave Search API.
Upstream retention still matters
Brave receives the query needed to perform the search, and Brave's own API privacy and retention terms apply. HONESTY90 therefore does not claim that nobody retains search-query data or that the full search path has zero data retention.
Clicks
Search-result links go directly to the destination site. HONESTY90 does not intentionally add click-tracking redirect URLs. Destination websites have their own privacy practices once you leave HONESTY90.
Local preferences
If interface preferences are added, the default design goal is to keep them on your device when practical rather than tying them to an identity.
